APPLICATION FORM

For the use of officers of the Indian Civil Service (including those serving in the Indian Political Service) and the Burma Civil Service (Class I) who wish to be considered for appoint- ments in the Colonial Service.

NOTE:

(i) Applicants in India or Burma must submit their

applications through the Government under which they are serving and must despatch them in time to reach that Government not later than 15th February 1947.

(ii) Applicants on leave (including leave preparatory to

retirement) in the U.K. should submit their applica- tions direct to the India Office, Whitehall, London, S.W.1. and must despatch them in time to be received by 31st January 1947.
